 You can apply for a pan card in india by following these steps.

1. Go to the website of the income tax department of India.

2. Click on the apply for pan card button on the homepage.

3. Select the category of applicant ( individual. Huf, company, etc ) and click on apply.

4. Fill in the required personal details in the online application form.

5. Upload the required document, including recent passport - sized photographs and proof of identity and address.

6. Make the payment for the application fee using a credit / debit card or net banking.

7. Submit the application and keep the acknowledgement number for future reference.

It is also possible to apply for pan card through utiitsl or nsdl. They are the two tin-fcs ( tax information network - facilitations centers ) authorized by the income tax department to process pan card application.
